"HEAVENLY VISITORS" Fr Anthony Gunin Iconography Online Exhibition

Iconography Virtual Reality Gallery Exhibition 17/11 - 17/1/2022 on www.heavenlypathartgallery.com.

Heavenly Path Art Gallery in the United Kingdom is now exhibiting an Iconography Exhibition by renowned Russian iconographer Fr Anthony Gunin in their Virtual Reality Gallery.

..."The Icons will be shown in a state-of-the-art Virtual Reality Gallery owned by the Heavenly Path Art Gallery, where visitors will be able to easily browse the icons, gather information, purchase originals, and book commissions online."

This exhibition's images are a selection of some of his most beautiful icons.

It is a miracle that an art form has endured for more than two thousand years and produced artworks of the finest calibre.

Iconography, without a question, is one of creation's enigmas.

Ioannis Antoniadis, curator, comments "....Fr Anthony is without a doubt one of the world's greatest tempera iconographers.

His paintings establish a link between aetherial and tangible art using Iconography as a medium.

On those paradoxical Icons, there is Strength from High Places and a Depth of Spirit.

Supernatural reality appears so close to us in those images of the Heavenly Visitors, yet we know it exists outside of our dull perspective.

It takes a great deal of time and effort to produce a truly spectacular icon.

Because the Iconographer did not rush the experience, such works are masterpieces.

He savoured the moment and relished this extraordinary opportunity.

Artists frequently forget, in their frustration to pay the bills, that those Visitors are opening a door to us through which Grace flows down to others in need.

For a curator, I believe it is an honour and a privilege to showcase such a collection of work.

I'd want to emphasise to those considering commissioning an icon from Fr Anthony that all icons, when not sold as-is, are available for commission.

The exhibition will take place from the 17th of November 2021 until the 17th of January 2022.

I hope you enjoy the exhibition ".
